Tips for Solving Sudoku Puzzles of All Difficulty Levels

While sudoku is one of the most exciting games to play it is difficult in that the game can easily trick people. Being able to get all nine numbers into each square without repeating in each row, column and individual 3x3 grid is tough. However, there are some good strategies to use for solving sudoku puzzles of all levels.

The first of the strategies to see is for easy sudoku games. The fact that duplication of numbers in each column, row and 3x3 grid can be easily used in this area. Therefore, it is best to take a look at the numbers that are possible to use for each area. It is best to use this strategy to help with getting a better idea of what to use for the puzzle's possible answers.

When working on individual numbers throughout the entire puzzle it is best to look into starting with number 1 and then going on to 9. This can be useful in that after some additional numbers are filled in the earlier numbers can be revisited and it will be easier to solve the puzzle. Also, if there are any confusions on the puzzle it helps to look into the numbers that have already been filled in already so that some logic is figured out. For instance, checking each 3x3 box to see what numbers are left will help.

For hard sudoku it helps to take a look at the individual numbers just like with easy sudoku. For instance, in a hard sudoku puzzle it helps to start with the number 1 and then work the way up to 9. Since the positioning of the numbers can be more difficult it helps to at least get in some of the easier numbers out of the way first through this strategy.

Considering the number of blocks left open in a row, column or 3x3 grid is also helpful. For instance, it helps to check on the possibilities in each area so that it can be found where certain numbers go. For instance, if 1, 4, 8 and 9 and available in a row but on 3x3 box that goes through the row used 1 and 9 early on then the two numbers open for the 3x3 box area are 4 and 8.

In some cases there will be instances where two numbers could fit into an individual score. However, it is best to take one of the two and fill it into the specific box and mark that box for later. This is because in the event that the initial number does not work the other one will be used as a replacement.

Those are some steps to use for solving sudoku puzzles. Whether it be for solving hard sudoku or for easy sudoku these are all useful strategies to help with solving the puzzle. After all, it can be challenging but it is not impossible to do.
